Which of those two is best sorted for the job that I have in mind (stable flying, easy flying?)

I would go with the DJI. I have a Gaui 330x ,nothing wrong with it but I think you will get a better flight board with the DJI. You may want to enlarge the motors and ESC after a few months so I would pick one that would allow you to go bigger . Dont sweat the frame you can find longer arms if needed.
